BREAKING: Robredo Report On Drug War Says It Was A Failure
ROBREDO DRUG WAR REPORT – After her stint as the drug czar for President Duterte, Vice President Leni Robredo shared with the public her report on the drug war.
According to her reports, the 3-year anti-narcotics campaign seized less than 1 percent of the total shabu supply in the Philippines. She cited police data that said 3,000 kilos of shabu is used in the country every week.
That would amount to 156,000 kilos of shabu per year. However, data from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency showed it only seized 1,344 kilos of shabu from January to October 2019.
In addition, she cited that in 2018, merely 785 kilos of shabu were seized. Afterward, 1,053 kilos of the drug was seized in 2017.
The Vice President added that police estimated around P.13 trillion worth of shabu circulated the Philippines annually. But, the anti-money laundering council only got P1.4 billion worth of narcotic funds.

According to a report from ABS-CBN, Robredo also questioned the confusion over the actual number of drug users and pushers in the country. She highlighted that the statistics from the different agencies do not match.
It is alarming because there are different interventions for users and pushers.
