President Rodrigo Duterte has offered Leni Robredo 6 months to lead the drug campaign. She reacted to his offer saying it the presidents’ way of admitting his campaign failed. “Kung walang failure bakit ipapasa sa akin? Di ba? Kasi ipapasa mo lang ang isang bagay ‘pag hindi mo na kayang gawin,” she said.

On November 25, Duterte fired Robredo from the anti-drug body. It was just weeks after he offered her the position. Malacañang Speaker Salvador Panelo explained that the chief executive decided to remove her from her post because she allegedly used the position to attack the current administration.
