PAGASA – Northeast Monsoon To Bring Cloudy Skies (January 3)

PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently said that the northeast monsoon or amihal will bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of the country.

The bureau elaborated that the weather system will bring cloudy skies with a chance of rains over Metro Manila and other Luzon provinces.

According to a post from Inquirer, the bureau’s 4 AM bulletin said that amihan will bring cloudy skies with light scattered rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora.

Metro Manila, as well as the rest of Luzon will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains still due to amihan.

On the other hand, the tail end of a cold front will bring cloudy skies with rains and isolated thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Quezon province, Marinduque and Oriental Mindoro.

Meanwhile, Davao Region, Soccskargen, Maguindanao, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will face cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the intertropical convergence zone.

Based on the report, Palawan, and the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will face bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.
