Poor Mom Critical in ICU & Her Baby Dies After Hospital Allegedly Refused To Accommodate Them Despite Condition
A poor mom is now critical in the intensive care unit while her baby died after a certain hospital in Parañaque allegedly refused to accommodate them.
Hospital is a health care institution that provides immediate medical attention to save patients’ lives. It also gives health care treatment with specialized medical equipment and nursing staff to help patients to obtain an optimum recovery.
Medical employees should also prioritize the safety and the health of their patients, which is their primary duty as health personnel. Neglecting patients or their responsibilities are subject to corresponding sanctions and penalties.
Recently, a Facebook user named Jocelyn Custodio has expressed her fury and disappointment towards Parañaque Hospital for allegedly refusing to accommodate her pregnant sister who is about to give birth during that time.
Custodio said that the Parañaque Hospital told them to transfer the pregnant lady to another hospital because the hospital could not perform a caesarean section. She asked the management to assist her sister going to Las Piñas District Hospital using their ambulance.
However, the hospital allegedly refused to let them use the ambulance. Jocelyn was forced to rent a tricycle just to bring her sister to Las Piñas.
Unfortunately, the pregnant woman did not make it and lose her baby. The poor woman is currently confined at the intensive care unit because of her condition.
