Talent manager Annabelle Rama showed this gesture to Inday Barretto and the latter’s daughter Gretchen Barretto reacted to this.
It is known to many that the Gutierrez and Barretto clans are two of the most popular showbiz family in the Philippines. A few months ago, a “conflict” between them happened. It started when Greta shared a screenshot of Ruffa Gutierrez’s comment on Julia Barretto’s post with the caption “sawsaw pa more”.
With this, Annabelle came to the rescue and defended her daughter. However, the “conflict” between them was ironed out just recently when Gretchen and Annabelle incidentally met in a restaurant. They had the chance to talk about what happened.
In the video posted on the YouTube channel of Abante, entertainment reporter Jun Lalin was able to ask them the details of the “conflict”. According to Greta and Annabelle, there was no real “awayan” between them as the younger celebrity already explained the controversial screenshot.

Gretchen also said that she is confident that Annabelle has no ill feelings towards her because of the long years that they had been together. “Hindi niya kayang awayin ako. Let’s face it, mahal mo ako,” the former actress said to the talent manager. Greta even said that with just one kiss from her, Annabelle will meltdown and her anger will go away immediately.
Aside from this, the former actress also mentioned the gesture that Annabelle did to her mother Inday Barretto. “Si Tita Annabelle, nagbigay ng abuloy kay mom noong namatay ang dad ko. Sabi ng mommy ko, ‘you know, Tita Annabelle gave 10-15 thousand.’ Na-touch ako,” Gretchen said.
Annabelle Rama said with a laugh that at that time, that was the only money she has in her bag. Gretchen Barretto answered, “Pero, hindi kasi ‘yong amount, it’s really the thought, para gawin mo.”
At this point, producer of Regal Entertainment Mother Lily Monteverde said, “mabait naman si Annabelle eh.” Gretchen agreed to this with a joking statement to the talent manager. “Kailan mo ako bibigyan ng sampung libo, namatayan din ako Tita,” Greta said to Annabelle with jest.
