Gazini Ganados might be needing an interpreter in Q & A portion of Miss Universe 2019
Filipina beauty queen Gazini Ganados might need the help of an interpreter in Miss Universe 2019 Q & A portion because of this reason.
The question-and-answer portion in beauty pageants is one of the highlights in the coronation night. Through this, the judges, as well as the pageant fans, will determine these following traits of a deserving winner – intelligence, substance, wit, and ability to express herself.
Several beauty queens in the history of beauty pageants around the globe have been identified with their winning answers. However, it is also a fact that there are certain candidates who are not so fluent in speaking the English language but this does not mean a disadvantage for them. In this situation, interpreters have a big role.
Apparently, Gazini Ganados, a Filipina beauty queen from Cebu, is open in the possibility of needing an interpreter for the Q & A portion of Miss Universe 2019. Based on the article from Abante, the beauty queen said, “I will think about it. Kasi I would like to showcase the Bisaya language in an international arena.”
However, she has to reconsider this as a limited number of people only will understand her. “Of course, I’m a proud Bisaya myself…But then again, I have to reconsider because not all people can understand that language. So, I will reconsider that po,” Gazini Ganados said.
With this, Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz said that she agrees on this, based on the article. According to her, it would help if the candidate has an interpreter, especially in the most prestigious beauty pageant in the world. The former beauty queen turned actress added that having an interpreter is not a thing to be ashamed about.
Meanwhile, the Miss Universe 2019 coronation night will be on December 9 in Atlanta while the preliminary and national costume competition will be on December 6.
