Alan Peter Cayetano Announces Where People Can Ask for SEA Games 2019 Free Tickets

SEA GAMES 2019 – PHISGOC chair Alan Peter Cayetano announced where people can inquire for SEA Games 2019 free tickets.

The 30th Southeast Asian Games will be hosted by the Philippines from November 30 to December 11. The chairman of the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) is House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano.

Days before the dames, Senator Franklin Drilon questioned the price of the cauldron that will be lit at the start of the regional meet. Cayetano responded saying it’s cheaper compared to Singapore’s cauldron.

Following a previous article, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte defended Alan Peter Cayetano regarding the alleged corruption in SEA Games 2019 hosting. He does not believe that the PHISGOC chair was involved in corruption.

In a report, Cayetano said the mishaps at the meet was due to the delayed budget approval at the senate. Sen. Drilon also cut the budget and transferred it to the Philippine Sports Commission.

“It was Senator Drilon who moved the budget of the SEA Games to the PSC and it was Senator Drilon who proposed cutting it by 33%,” he said.

A day before the opening ceremony of the 2019 SEA Games, Alan Peter Cayetano finally announced where the public can inquire for the regional meet free tickets. The video was uploaded on ABS-CBN’s Twitter page.

“Additional general admission complimentary tickets for the opening of 30th SEA Games shall be turned over to the State Universities near the Philippine Arena for distribution to students…”

“There are non-ticketed sports which are open to the public and there are also no complimentary tickets due to full capacity. Yung full capacity, yun po yung sinasabi naming na na sold out na,” he added.
