Undeniably, pilots are taking a very huge responsibility everytime they are flying an airplane. They are not only there to maneuver the plane to get to its destination but also to decide whenever unforeseen things happen.

Every time they would fly a plane, not only they have to secure their safety so they can get home to their families safe but they are also carrying several lives. One wrong move can lead to the loss of several lives in one click.

Recently, a PAL airplane pilot gained admiration for how he did his job well. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the plane was caught by fire and it had to make an emergency landing.

PAL Flight PR 113 was from Los Angeles and is bound to Manila. It has just taken off when one of its engines was caught by fire. The pilot, Captain Tristan Simeon, noticed it right away and ordered for an emergency landing at LAX in Los Angeles Airport.

Based on the report, the plane was carrying more than 300 passengers. According to PAL Spokesperson Cielo Villaluna, it was the engine number two that was in flame.

The PAL Airplane was able to land safely during an emergency landing. Also, the PAL spokesperson assured that all the passengers deplaned safely thus their loved ones have nothing to worry about. Currently, the investigation regarding the incident is still ongoing.
