The video footage of a barangay kagawad and its colleagues mauling a helpless man and woman goes viral after it was posted online.
Barangay officials are public personnel hired by the Philippine government to serve the Filipino people. They are also tasked to implement certain rules and regulations under their area of jurisdiction.
The local officials should perform their duties and responsibilities in the village to maintain peace and order. The public servants should also set as a good example towards other people.
Recently, the Facebook user named Fran Rusti has shared the video footage of an alleged barangay kagawad with its colleague while mauling a helpless man and woman beside a parking space.
In the video, it can be seen that a group of male teenagers and the alleged barangay official attacking the innocent man and woman. The incident happened at Minute Burger in front of Lumina Mall Imus.
