Sam Pinto tells the story of Anthony Semerad’s proposal
Actress-model Sam Pinto is now engaged with her boyfriend PBA player Anthony Semerad and she shared how he proposed.
Sam paved her way to stardom when she joined the Kapamilya reality show franchise Pinoy Big Brother. After that stint, she ventured into acting and hosting, as well as modeling. She was even hailed as one of the sexiest women in the Philippines in the previous years.
Aside from her career, Sam also found success in her love life. She and Anthony got engaged in August this year, based on the article from Philippine Entertainment Portal. The unforgettable event happened during their trip to Australia.
Sam shared that she “kinda felt” that the proposal was coming, especially that she was told to wear something nice. “Okay, whatever, I wore something nice. But when we got to the hotel, may white long-stretch limo. And I’m, like, my heart stopped, ‘Is that for us?’ Tapos biglang iyong driver, ‘Anthony?’ Sa amin nga iyon! Takot naman ako, di ba?” the actress-model shared.
She remembered asking her boyfriend where they would go and what would they do but the PBA player did not say anything. When they arrived at the pier, Anthony told her that they would walk to the end. That was because there was a helicopter waiting for them there.
“So, we went around Gold Coast. It’s so nice pala up there. You can see the full stretch of Gold Coast and the beach and the big waves. And then after that, sabi niya, ‘Wait, meron pa, meron pa!'” Sam Pinto enthused.
After the helicopter ride, the couple rode the gondola and that was the time Anthony proposed to Sam. ‘Tapos nung nilabas na [iyong ring], umiyak na ako… Ang dami pa niya sinasabi, pero wala, hindi ko na naririnig nung nakita ko,” the actress shared.
After the proposal, they had their photoshoot. According to the article, Sam will soon share the photos on her Instagram account. When asked about their wedding plans, she said that it will happen next year.
