Woman & 3 Children Got Hospitalized After Eating Pork Adobo

FOOD POISONING – A certain woman together with her three children were rushed to the hospital after eating ‘Pork Adobo’.

Over the past few weeks, African Swine Fever has been one of the major health concerns not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. The virus is extremely dangerous and could pose risk to the consumer’s health.

The Philippine government and the Department of Health are already implementing stricter rules and regulations when it comes to importing meat products in the country. Several meat products have been pulled out from the market after tested positive of ASF.

On Wednesday morning (November 6, 2019), the Kapuso show Unang Balita reported that a certain family in Malasiqui, Pangasinan got hospitalized due to food poisoning after eating pork adobo.

The woman identified as Mara Jovellanos suffered from dizziness and stomach ache after eating pork meat. Mara’s three children also suffered the same signs and symptoms. Jovellanos said that the pork meat came from their neighbor.

According to medical experts, the pork meat is possibly contaminated by bacteria. The doctors have already taken some meat samples for study.
