BAGGER WITH DOWN SYNDROME – A volunteer bagger from Naga, Cebu who has down syndrome went viral as he lit up the hearts of many.

A netizen from Facebook named Candice Grace Cabras Maque uploaded a video of Laylay, a person with down syndrome. Laylay volunteers at their local grocery as a bagger.

Aside from this, he also volunteers to carry the customer’s groceries. He even pushes their carts if he sees them having a hard time.

Candice met Laylay in Super Metro Naga. She said that he is always helping them with their groceries.

She added that Laylay exudes a sense of calmness. Adding to this, Laylay always carried with him his big smile.

When she asked the people if he was working for the store, she was surprised. She learned that Laylay was just volunteering.

In as much as I am thankful to the store for allowing him to volunteer, I would be more happy to know if he EARNS as well. I was told that some customers gave him money and he would buy food to be shared with his family when he goes home. 😥💕
