According to Rodel Bautista, the incident happened during a traffic inspection where he was asked to present his vehicle documents to an enforcer. Bautista explained that he had both his 2026 and 2027 vehicle registration documents with him at the time.
However, because of nervousness and the pressure of the situation, he accidentally handed over the older 2026 registration instead of the latest and valid 2027 copy. He said the mistake happened because he became anxious and confused while speaking with the enforcer.
Bautista shared that after realizing the error, he immediately showed his updated registration document. Despite presenting what he claimed was his current and valid registration, he alleged that the enforcer still proceeded with issuing a ticket.
