Claudine Barretto Posts Message for Elder Sister Gretchen Barretto
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – Actress Claudine Barretto thanked her elder sister, Gretchen Barretto, for “giving way again”.
The issues involving the Barretto sisters and nieces have yet to come to an end. Amid the death of their patriarch, Miguel Barretto, the actress sisters were not able to patch things up.
Undeniably, the issues even went intense. A tension rose between Gretchen and Marjorie at the wake of their father. It was reportedly followed by Claudine confronting Marjorie.
Gretchen Barretto claimed that Marjorie Barretto was not happy with her presence at the wake of her father. She refused to shake hands with Gretchen even under the request of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in respect to their late dad.
On the part of Marjorie, according to her, it would have been better if Gretchen made here reconciliation while their dad was at the hospital and there were no cameras around.
Claudine Barretto reportedly confronted Marjorie about it. It is no secret to the public that the youngest of the Barretto sisters and Gretchen were able to patch things up between them early this year.
Claudine and Marjorie’s argument even reportedly led to the former being brought to the hospital. There were even allegations that the former will be filing charges against the latter.
On Saturday, the Barretto patriarch was laid to rest. His remains were cremated. On her Instagram account, Claudine Barretto posted a video and along with it is a caption thanking her elder sister, Gretchen Barretto, for “giving way again”.
Seemingly, Gretchen decided not to come to the ceremony before the cremation of the remains of their late father. In her Instagram post, the younger Barretto also told her sister that their father is “proud” of her for “giving way again”.
