Regine Velasquez finally reacts to almost million-worth gift from Sharon Cuneta.
REGINE VELASQUEZ – Kapamilya singer and Songbird Regine Velasquez finally expressed reaction over expensive gift for her from Megastar.
During the Songbird Regine Velasquez’s Regine At The Movies concert last November 24 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, the singer received a jaw-dropping and very pricey gift from her idol, the Megastar Sharon Cuneta. This happened when they sang together the classic OPM song “Bituing Walang Ningning”.
The Megastar herself admitted that this is the most expensive gift she has given to someone so far. The jewelry piece has been on the Megastar’s care for over a decade made by Candy Dizon of Jul B. Dizon jewelry. Moreover, according to the crafter, the flower is worn in two fingers and is inspired from the ring the Megastar saw in the film Sex and The City as worn by Canadian actress Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones.
It is “made up of more than 8 carats of very good quality diamonds and set in 18 karat white gold” and has a whopping price of nearly a million pesos based on a previous article. And in a presscon recently held for their first concert together, Velasquez expressed from Abante’s report, “Nai-stress na ako… Siyempre, if I’m gonna give her something, I want. . .hindi ko kaya kasing tumbasan na ‘yun, no! It has to be special that… something, I don’t know. I’ll figure it out, what I can give her.”
Meanwhile, their Iconic two-day concert will be on October 18 and 19 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum directed by Rowel Santiago alongside musical directors Louie Ocampo and Raul Mitra.
