Sharon Cuneta surprised Regine Velasquez with a pricey gift
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez was surprised to receive this pricey gift from Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
The new Kapamilya singer held her Regine At The Movies concert last November 24 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
One of her special guests was Sharon. Together they sang the classic OPM song “Bituing Walang Ningning”.
While they were singing, the Megastar took off her flower-shaped diamond-studded double finger ring, based on the article published in PEP.
Then, Sharon Cuneta gave her expensive ring to Regine Velasquez.

“Pinakamahal na regalong nabigay ko sa buhay ko ‘to,” Mega said to the Songbird.
With obvious awe, Regine answered, “Masha-shock yung mga kasama ko sa likod!”
After realizing what she received, the Asia’s Songbird jokingly asked the Megastar if she could bring it to the pawnshop.
With the usual laugh of Sharon, she said: “‘Wag mo namang isangla…”
Why all of a sudden Sharon gave Regine a very expensive jewelry?
Mega shared that there are just moments when she suddenly feels that she wants to give.
“Sometimes, I get this felling na I want to give… but it’s the most expensive gift I’ve ever given anyone,” Sharon said.
The said ring was made by Candy Dizon of Jul B. Dizon jewelry. That particular piece of jewelry had been with Sharon for ten years now.
She even bid goodbye to the ring. “I’ll miss you. I love you so much!” the Three Words To Forever actress said with jest.
Sharon Cuneta also joked as she asked Regine Velasquez if she has prepared a gift for her, based on the article.
The answer of the Songbird to this was: “Meron, meron akong ibibigay! Ibibigay ko na sa ‘yo yung asawa ko kapalit nito (ring)!”
