Last Moments of Sophia Corullo & Her Mom Before the Child Actress Died
SOPHIA CORULLO – Angeli Corullo revealed the last moments before her child actress daughter died.
Last August 18, a lot of people were shocked and left heartbroken by reports that Sophia Corullo died. The child actress reportedly died of dengue, a mosquito-born disease that is rampant in the Philippines now.
Sophia or more commonly called as Baby Sophie has even appeared on television before she passed away. She was part of the recent Maalaala Mo Kaya episode of ABS-CBN network. She played as the daughter of actress Yen Santos and actor Rafael Rossell.
Recently, speaking to Pep, Sophia Corullo’s mom Angeli revealed the last moments before the child actress died. They were initially not aware that she already has a dengue,
Based on the report, Angeli Corullo expressed that she was even able to do her last taping for MMK and take a periodical test at school the next day. It was April 12-13.
The mom of the late child actress said that it was during the dawn of April 14 when she started having fever. Her mom made her drink a medicine and she felt better.
“Noong Thursday, Friday, nawala na po totally iyong lagnat niya. Pero pinagpahinga ko pa rin siya,” the grieving mother expressed.
Based on the report, in her last moments before she died, Sophia Corullo asked her mom to buy her food. They ate in Mang Inasal and they also bought her other requests – doughnut and choco mallows.
However, when Saturday came, Sophia was weak and she did not even eat the food they bought. Her mom decided to bring her to the Makati Hospital since the health center is closed during Saturdays.
“Noong tiningnan po siya, mababa po ang platelets niya. Sabi, i-admit daw po I.C.U… Dire-diretso na po ang ano niya, ang panghihina niya,” she said.
Based on the report, the mom of Sophia Corullo also shared that before the child actress died, she wanted to go home to watch her MMK episode. She also wanted to see her siblings.
Unfortunately, Baby Sophie’s condition continued to get worse and she fell unconscious. On April 18, the child actress breathed her last at around 2:00 in the afternoon.
Currently, while they are grieving over the death of Baby Sophie, the parents of the child actress are at the same time worried about their other child, Bryan. He’s admitted at the hospital and was diagnosed with dengue.
“Nagluluksa kami rito. ‘Tapos, may isa pa kaming inaalala,” Angeli said.
The mom of the late actress added that the remains of Baby Sophie will be cremated. It will be brought to their new house in Tanza, Cavite.
