CATHY GARCIA-MOLINA – Blockbuster director Cathy Molina revealed that she had a conversation with actor John Lloyd Cruz.

Undeniably, one of the most-awaited comebacks in the Philippine entertainment industry is the return of John Lloyd Cruz. The Kapamilya actor has been in a showbiz hiatus since October 2017.

Lloydie was doing Home Sweetie Home when he decided to take an “indefinite leave” then. After it, he was spotted enjoying his life visiting other places with actress Ellen Adarna.

John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna were rumored to be in a relationship. The actress was also the center of talk about her rumored pregnancy.

The following year, it was confirmed that Ellen Adarna gave birth to her eldest with John Lloyd Cruz. The baby boy was named Elias Modesto and he recently turned one year old.

Until now, Lloydie has yet to return to the showbiz industry. He did an endorsement project with Turks Shawarma but there is still no hint with regards to his comeback on TV.

Recently, director Cathy Garcia-Molina who has worked with John Lloyd Cruz in several hit projects, revealed that she had a conversation with the Kapamilya actor. It was over her break from doing films.

Based on an article on Pep, during her guesting on Tonight With Boy Abunda, Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina revealed that John Lloyd Cruz called. According to the director, their conversation happened after she did Hello, Love, Goodbye.

Direk Cathy shared that John Lloyd asked her about the talks that she will retire. She denied it as she preferred to call it a “break” from doing films and not retirement.

Based on the report, John Lloyd also seems to disagree with the idea that Direk Cathy will retire. He also hinted to return on showbiz.

“Tapos sabi niya, ‘Pagbalik ko na lang. Pagbalik ko, magkita tayo,'” she narrated.

Reportedly, after Hello, Love, Goodbye, Direk Cathy will supposed do one more film. But, as she loves the network, she agreed to do another one so there will be two films before she takes a break and she hopes that one of it will be with Lloydie.
