Here are several methods on how to cut glasses perfectly:
Glass Cutter & Water
Mark the cutting line with masking tape and score the lining using a glass cutter. Pour hot then cold water until the bottle finally breaks then kindly smooth the edges.
String & Flame
Wrap the bottle with a string then soaked it in a flammable liquid. Lit on the string with fire while rotating the bottle.
Dremel
Mask off the bottle and slowly cut the glass along the taped line using a Dremel then sand the edges for a smooth finish.
