SLEEP PARALYSIS – Here are some of the scary truths and things that might happen if you have sleep paralysis which you probably do not know yet.

You wake up in the middle of the night. You seem awake but you cannot lift a finger or even a single muscle. Then your chest starts to tighten and you’re experiencing difficulty in breathing. Next is you start seeing scary images and dark shadows but you cannot help yourself – that’s sleep paralysis and not just another spine-chilling horror story.

Now, here are some scary things that might happen to you if you have sleep paralysis:

  • YOU CAN’T CONTROL YOUR BODY – This phenomenon causes you immobilized and in all sense of its name, it literally paralyzes you. This happens when your brain and your body disconnects. This also makes you feel being trapped.
  • CHOKING – You feel like you can’t breath or having hard time breathing. This case will cause panic and so if this happens, as much as possible, try to relax. Some researchers believed that this is associated to some demon sitting on your chest.
  • STRESS – Experiencing sleep paralysis can cause panic which eventually triggers the person to be stress or extremely exhausted. This is due to the fact that you thinking of someone attacking you but you can’t do anything because you are unable to move. Being unable to speak and breath to ask for help also adds up to the panic for muscles in your mouth also stops functioning.
