The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather updates in the Philippines for Wednesday (July 24, 2019).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the southwest monsoon would continue to affect the weather conditions over some parts of the country.

The southwest monsoon or locally known as ‘Habagat’ would primarily affect the weather condition in Southern Luzon.

The Habagat would also bring cloudy weather conditions with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over MIMAROPA and the western Visayas.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
