Veteran drama actress Coney Reyes reacted to the “babe mayor” tag of her son Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto from a certain netizen.
Vico is popular among netizens not just being one of the youngest politicians who won in the midterm elections this year. He also caught the attention of the online community because of his views and principles on certain issues in the country.
The fact that he is the son of Coney and Vic Sotto adds to his popularity scale. Of course, another factor to this is his good looks.
After winning, there were several tags thatbare associated with his name, one of those is “the millennial mayor”. Then, there was a netizen who called him “babe mayor“.

Apparently, the young politician does not want to be called like that and his mother Coney Reyes also has the same view.
Based on the report from Philippine Entertainment Portal, the veteran actress doesn’t agree with this tag for Vico Sotto.
“Wag naman. Wag niyong tawagin. He’s very simple, even his manner of dressing. Kaya pagka nagsabi siya, ‘Ma, do yo have time? Can you go and get me like this?’ Takbo na ang nanay,” Coney shared.
She also expressed how proud she is for her son, based on the report. The veteran actress said that she admires the strong conviction of Vico.
When it comes to the Mayor’s relationship status, the proud mother said that his son laughs every time people would ask why he is still single until now.
