OFW contestants in Wowowin finally won the Mega Jackpot
On July 5, 2019 episode of Kapuso primetime game show Wowowin, 2 OFWs, and 1 who is planning to go abroad won the Mega Jackpot.
The show of Willie Revillame is known to be generous in giving ng prizes to the contestants as well as to the audience.
After quite a while, the Mega Jacpot in the game show’s segment Pera o Kahon was finally won. Based on the report from GMA, the jackpot prize includes P1 million, house and lot, and a brand new car.
The lucky winners are Edmar “Emay” Rimano, Maria Christine Joy “Tintin” Tablizo at Rhoda “Udeng” Navarro.
Reportedly, the winners had a hard time deciding what to choose because Willie already offered P350,000. However, the contestants stood firm to their decision of choosing the “kahon”.
“Sa simula pa lang kahon ako nang kahon kasi para sa mga anak ko, para sa future nila para hindi na rin po ako umalis, makasama ko na po sila, may puhunan na po kami,” Udeng shared.
However, Emay initially had a different choice, “Gusto ko na po talaga kunin ‘yung pera kasi mahirap po talaga ang buhay, malaking pera na po ‘yun. Kaso nararamdaman ko po ‘yung mga tao saka napanaginipan ko na naka-orange ako na may napanalunan daw ako, itong-ito ang damit ko.”
Aside from the excitement coming from the Mega Jackpot, the Wowowin viewers also witnessed a proposal from Emay to Tintin.
“Kung para talaga tayo sa isa’t isa pakakasalan kita… Tapos may sarili na nga talaga tayong bahay kung sakali, kasi sobrang lucky natin, sariling lupa at bahay ‘yun, kaya sana tayo talaga ang tinadhana,” Emay said to Tintin.
