Camp of Park Bo Gum denies he has something to do with the Song Song couple divorce
Actor Park Bo Gum denied hia involvement in the divorce of celebrity couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo.
It was in March this year when Song Song couple was rumored to be getting a divorce after two years of being married. They tied the knot in October of 2017. The couple worked together in the hit K-drama series Descendants of the Sun.
However, the divorce rumor came into reality when Joong Ki filed a divorce from Hye Kyo. In a previous report, the lawyer of the actor confirmed this news.
“Our law firm filed for divorce on behalf of Song Joong Ki at the Seoul Family Court on June 26. Additionally, we would like to convey Song Joong Ki’s official statement,” Atty. Park Jae Hyun, the lawyer of Song Joong Ki confirmed.
Amid this issue, the name of Park Bo Gum surfaced as he allegedly has a relationship with Hye Kyo. It is rumored that their romance started when they did the series Encounter.
However, the camp of Bo Gum denied the allegations against him, based on PEP’s report.
Here is the statement from the camp of the actor:
“While it was Song Joong Ki who announced his divorce from Song Hye Kyo this morning, Park Bo Gum, a junior from the same agency as Song Joong Ki and also acted in a previous work with Song Hye Kyo is being mentioned in unexpected rumor mills.“
“Even just mentioning Park Bo Gum’s name in the divorce of the two is offensive.
“In response, we will take firm legal action against the groundless rumors about Park Bo Gum.”
“We will straighten out these rumors via legal action.”
Bo Gum and Joong Ki are known to be close friends and the former, reportedly, cried during the wedding of the latter.
