Netizens based the tribute of Jessica Soho to Eddie Garcia
Kapuso journalist Jessica Soho received bashing due to the tribute that her show KMJS (Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho) did for the late veteran actor Eddie Garcia.
During last Sunday’s episode of the magazine show, a segment was intended to recognize the achievements and contributions that Eddie did in the Philippine entertainment industry.
However, according to the report from Bandera, the said tribute received bashing from netizens.
It is for the reason that the segment did not tackle the most important issue – the accident that happened to the veteran actor while shooting the upcoming series Rosang Agimat. This unfortunate event eventually led to the death of Tito Eddie.
Based on the report, netizens were angry because of the alleged “biased” episode. Some questioned why the show did not tackle the accident.
Previously, GMA stated that they are conducting an investigation regarding the absence of paramedics during the taping. However, until now, the network has not released any result of the investigation.
Meanwhile, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through its Occupational Safety and Health Center, already came into the scene to investigate the accident.
