Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather updates in the Philippines for Saturday (June 8, 2019).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition.

PAGASA said that the Intertropical Convergence Zone would affect the weather condition over some parts of the country.

The ITCZ would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mindanao.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned of possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the surrounding sea conditions over the northern and central Luzon as well as the rest of the country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
