DSWD Chief Rolando Bautista Sets Condition For Accepting Erwin Tulfo’s Public Apology
DSWD Sec. Rolando Bautista released an official statement regarding the public apology of news broadcaster Erwin Tulfo for his distasteful remarks.
Over the past few weeks, the feud between Erwin Tulfo and Rolando Bautista has been one of the most controversial topics online.
Erwin Tulfo lambasted and threatened to slap Bautista after refusing to grant an interview on his radio program.
Recently, Social Welfare Secretary Rolando Bautista released an official statement about Tulfo’s public apology.
However, Bautista sets several conditions for accepting the apology of Tulfo.
Tulfo should:
- Publish the apology minimum of half-page advertisements in newspapers
- Upload it on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube
- Air it on radio stations DZBB, DZMM, Radio Singko News FM 92.3, DZRH, and DZRB
- Donate at least P300,000 to each of 19 organizations he identified
The DSWD chief also expressed his gratitude towards PMA alumni, soldiers, officers, government employees, and non-governmental organizations for supporting him.
Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has also ordered Tulfo to surrender his firearms to the authorities.
