Few Earthquakes Have Hit Philippines Today (May 29)

EARTHQUAKES – Today, May 29, a few quakes have hit the Philippines compared to the other previous days.

Undeniably, shaking caused by the movement of the plates are usual in some part of the Philippines. The country is among those lying along the Pacific Ring of Fire making it prone to it.

With regards to details over quakes jolting PH, it is the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) that records it. It also releases bulletins for public awareness.

In its bulletin, Phivolcs indicates the exact place where the quake was located and as well as the exact time it ha hit the place. Also, the government agency states the magnitude of the quake.

For today, May 29, fewer earthquakes have hit the areas in the Philippines compared to the previous days. As of this writing, Phivolcs has recorded five(5) quakes.
