Low-Pressure Area May Enter PAR This Week

The Japan Meteorological Agency reported that a low-pressure area was expected to enter the Philippines‘ territory this week.

On Monday (May 6, 2018), the Japan Meteorological Agency said that a low-pressure area has been found east of Mindanao still outside the country’s vicinity.

The weather disturbance was expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) around Wednesday (May 8, 2019).

MetraWeather said that the LPA has still no direct effect on Philippine weather.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that Ilocos Region, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon might experience rains.

CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao Region are also expected to experience rains.

Rains are also expected to prevail over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country despite the generally fair weather condition, according to the weather agency.
