Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today (May 6, 2019).

On Monday (May 6, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition.

PAGASA said that the frontal system would continue to affect the weather conditions over some parts of the country.

The frontal system would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and Aurora.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Extreme Northern Luzon would be moderate to occasionally rough.

Slight to moderate waters are expected over the eastern sections of Luzon, Visayas, and eastern section of Mindanao.

The surrounding sea conditions over the rest of the country would be slight, according to the weather agency.
