18 DAYS LEFT – May 13, 2019 would be set date of the senatorial elections, that is exactly 18 days from today (April 25, 2019).
For the 2019 midterm polls, the Commission on Elections or COMELEC has already announced the final list of senatorial candidates. Follow this link for more information about the list.

The Philippines’ senatorial elections are conducted with the ‘plurality-at-large’ voting system. Each voter is allowed to pick up to 12 candidates and the 12 candidates with the most votes are then officially elected.
The Philippines is a multi-party system with two major political parties. Each party endorses a group of candidates, usually not exceeding 12 people.
The winning candidates are then officially announced by the Commission on Elections or COMELEC.
