Aftermath Photos of Devastating Earthquake in Samar & Parts of Luzon
Here are some aftermath photos of the devastating magnitude 6.5 earthquake that hits Eastern Samar and some parts of Luzon on Tuesday (April 23, 2019).
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported that a powerful tremor with a magnitude of 6.5 struck Eastern Samar.
The quake causes damage in several establishments in the area and brings terror to the affected residents.
The tremor was also felt at various intensities in the nearby provinces of Eastern Samar such as Leyte, Masbate, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Surigao del Sur, Iloilo, Negros Occidental, and Cebu.
The earthquake was initially recorded at magnitude 6.2 but raised to 6.5-magnitude after a few moment.
The Samar quake came a day after Pampanga has been struck by a magnitude 6.1 earthquake on Monday (April 22, 2019).
