JOEY DE LEON – The Kapuso comedian Joey De Leon shared the photo of an old identification card from ABS-CBN that he got up until now.
One of the veteran actors, comedians, and hosts that the entertainment industry probably ever had is the currently Kapuso star Joey De Leon. He already starred in numerous films and shows and some of them are Starzan: Shouting Star of the Jungle, Sheman: Mistress of the Universe, Send In The Clowns, Tartan, Pepe En Pilar, Tatlo Silang Tatay Ko, D’ Gradweyts, Bilibid Gays, Iskul Bukol, and a lot more.
Every big stars of today started small and crawled their way to the top. There is no shortcut to success. And just recently, down the memory lane, De Leon visited something from his past. He shared a photo of his old ID with ABS-CBN when he was still a talent in Eat Bulaga. At such time, EB is still under the Kapamilya network.
“Look what I found while cleaning!” he said in a post.
Also, in a previous article, he also shared a photo of him from the past while he was still with the Kapamilya network. He said in a very nostalgic post, “DOS were the days! Napansin nyo ba logo sa cap ko? 1968 pa ‘yan!”
Based on PUSH, during his interview on the now-defunct TV show Kris TV, he expressed how proud he is to say that he started a career in the entertainment industry with ABS-CBN.
“Dito sa ABS-CBN proud ako sabihin I worked here in 1968. Ang sweldo namin gusto mong marinig? Ang suweldo namin noon, na si Jake Lopez pa ang boss ko, inabot ko pa ang lolo ni Gabby Lopez III. Ang sweldo ay P200 a month (that time ay malaki na ‘yon) noong ginawa kaming permanent matindi naging P210, totoo ‘yan nasa akin pa ang papel,” he said.
