MISS UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION – The Miss Universe Organization finally speaks and releases statement disclosing the real franchise owner amid issues.
The latest crowned Miss Universe is the PH bet Catriona Gray who just recently had her homecoming in the Philippines after sometime she spent abroad following her victory.
There had been rumors circulating in the online platform that the franchise was already with Chavit Singson as it has been previously reported that he already acquired the franchise and will accordingly take over this year but this has been refuted by Stella Marquez Araneta.

And, following the controversy, Miss Universe Organization finally released their official statement regarding the matter stating that the franchise remained with the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc (BPCI). Singson continues to support both MUO and BPCI “in seeking to modernize and grow the brand into more than a one day special and LCS (Luis Chavit Singson) has agreed to support us in our efforts to do so.”
Furthermore based on Rappler, “In our continuing efforts to build and evolve the Miss Universe brand in the Philippines, the Miss Universe Organization has explored many options and opportunities to enhance Binibining and grow it into a dynamic, multi-faceted platform. While exploring these opportunities, we sought the input of all of our partners and will continue to do so.”
