Throwback of Kuya Kim Atienza as Body Builder Goes Viral
KUYA KIM ATIENZA – Throwbak photo of Kuya Kim Atienza as a body builder went viral on social media.
Filipino tv host, former politician, and actor Alejandro Ilagan Atienza or better known as Kim Atienza is the current weather anchor of ABS-CBN TV Patrol.
The anchor is the eldest son of the former Manila mayor Lito Atienza. Like his father, he served the government for twelve years.
Kuya Kim Atienza hosted the morning show Umagang Kay Ganda and left in the year 2009. He then joined the noontime variety show It’s Showtime along with Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, and Karylle.
In a report, the host revealed why he left the noontime show in 2016 saying he wanted to focus on giving more trivia like the late Ernie Baron.
Aside from the entertainment business and politics, Kuya Kim Atienza was also a triathlete. He finished several marathons including the Ironman Triathlon.
However, the anchor was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome and suffered a mild stroke in 2010.
Meanwhile, Kuya Kim Atienza shared a photo of his younger days on his Instagram account. It was the days when the anchor spent most of his days in the gym.
In the caption of the post, Kim admitted that he was passionate about having a hard muscles in the 80’s. He revealed that he admired the bodies of Arnold Shwarzennegger and Lou Ferrigno.
