Last Monday, the Department of Foreign Affairs reported the tragedy that happened to the newlywed Filipino couple in
OFW Leomer and Erika Lagradilla died and drowned while snorkeling in the beautiful resort in Dhiffushi Island. The couple was supposed to be celebrating their honeymoon.
Following a previous article, the best friends of the Filipino couple were seeking help to bring back the dead bodies of Leomer and Ericka in the Philippines.
Their friend named Jinella Lagasca posted the news on her Facebook account asking for financial help. The family needed the amount of P1,268,000 to get their remains back.
In a report, the parents of the couple went to the DFA and to meet Secretary Teddy Boy Locsin Jr. to ask for help. It is not yet confirmed if the DFA will shoulder all the expenses to get the couple back in the country.
