Nicko Falcis Reveals Kris Aquino’s “Bitterness” To ABS-CBN Until Now

Kris Aquino still has “bitterness” to ABS-CBN until now – Nicko Falcis

Nicko Falcis, the former business partner of Kris Aquino, revealed that she still has “bitterness” to ABS-CBN until now.

The Queen of all Media worked in the Kapamilya network for 20 years. She did several shows and movies as well in its film franchise Star Cinema.

However, Kris ended her venture in ABS-CBN in 2016. It was just last year when she had her reunion movie with Star Cinema titled I Love You, Hater.

Amid the issue between Kris Aquino and Nicko Falcis, the latter has new revelations.

During an interview with PEP, the financial whiz revealed that the social media influencer still has emotional baggage against her former home network.

Nicko called her reunion with ABS-CBN as “half-baked homecoming”.

“She was never volatile until May, June, last year,” he opened up. Kris went back to ABS-CBN last April 2018 to sign a contract for the said movie.

“I think the change happened after I Love You, Hater or during the shooting of the Star Cinema movie. It was aggravated during Indonesia, because I felt that she [was thinking], ‘I can’t do this anymore. I don’t want to do this anymore,'” he added.

According to the report, Nicko said that Kris blamed him for her health scare in Indonesia.

Triggering factor, according to Nicko

When asked what triggered Kris to be volatile after the Star Cinema movie, he gave several answers.

Gretchen Barretto

“It’s an accumulation of all the things. She felt that, first, it was a half-baked reunion. She came back, but nobody was really there. I do not know her life during ABS-CBN—but, those were her rants to me,” Nicko Falcis said.

Aside from this, Kris also complained about “when the movie was being made, when the movie posters were up—billing issues, the size of the head…”

For Nicko, the fact that the warm welcome for Kris Aquino‘s comeback is not that warm anymore affected her so much.

“I mean, everything was set up. Star Cinema did really welcome her. But there were just some missing individuals,” he shared.

When asked to confirm the absence of Kris former managers ABS-CBN TV executive Deo Endrinal and TV host Boy Abunda, Nicko Falcis said “Yes, all her previous managers, I think. I guess all the old people that she is used to seeing. Nobody’s there.”

Nicko also shared that Kris got angry at him when a staff member under his command gave Crazy Rich Asian‘s PR materials to ABS-CBN-affiliated Metro Magazine, based on the report.
