Jodi Sta. Maria Speaks About Projects, Upcoming International Film This Year
JODI STA. MARIA – Actress Jodi Sta. Maria spoke about her movie projects and upcoming international film this 2019.
Kapamilya actress Jodi Chrissie Garcia Santamaria or better known as Jodi Sta. Maria is one of the prominent actresses in the Philippines.
Jodi was part of the Star Magic Circle and has been on the ABS-CBN network ever since. She gained fame after her successful role on the tv series Tabing Ilog with co-stars Kaye Abad, Paolo Contis, Baron Geisler among others.
Jodi Sta. Maria brought pride to the Filipinos after being nominated as Best Actress on the International Emmy Awards in 2016.
She caught the attention of the judges on her excellent acting on the tv series Pangako Sa’yo portraying the character of Amor Powers.
Based on a report from PUSH, Jodi Sta. Maria is currently working on her film with Marvin Agustin titled Second Coming. She shared a glimpse of their upcoming movie saying it is a mix of a horror-thriller movie.
“This is a mix of drama, a psych thriller, horror at ano ba ‘tong nagho-haunt sa pamilyang ‘to? Totoo ba ‘tong multo?”
Before Jodi Sta. Maria went back to her normal job as an actress. She spent a lot of time with her son Thirdy Lacson on their vacation abroad.
“Nagpunta kami ng Finland and nag-Sweden…First time kaming nakapag-try ng huskies sledding,” she said.
Based on the report, Jodi Sta. Maria is also set to do an international movie this year. The actress is undoubtedly excited
“Gagawa tayo ng international film very soon pero wala pa ako sa posisyon to spill the beans but I’m really praying about it. Hollywood levels”
“Kaya sobra akong kinikilig kasi hindi ko sila alam kung paano ko sila haharapin, baka ma-tongue tied ako, baka manganga ako, baka ma-star struck ako,” she added.
