TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan December 29 winner is Larry Yuson from Mindanao, his first win and will defend the title.
The daily contenders for today, December 29, were:
- Cyril Ocampo (Metro Manila)
- Guia Torreon (Visayas)
- Larry Yuson (Mindanao)
However, the 2nd contestant was “gonged” by “Punong Hurado” Jaya because of her shaky voice.
Garnering an average score of 91.2%, the one who was hailed as today’s daily winner is Larry Yuson from Mindanao. She will go against the Luzon defending champion Sarrah Mae Paner.
In tapatan, the final round of the competition, the daily winner sang Sa Aking Puso and the defending champion performed Hesus and the daily winner from Mindanao was hailed as the December 29 defending champion with a score of 91.6%.

- OVERALL PERFORMANCE – 50%
The judges for today, December 29 are Nyoy Volante, Kyla, Randy Santiago, Jed Madela, and “Punong Hurado” Jaya.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan is aired in the noontime show Its Showtime which is now on its third year and a singing competition for the amateur singers. The known champions from TNT were Noven Belleza, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin for the first year, kids edition, and second year respectively.
