TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan December 20 winner is John Michael Dela Cerna from Mindanao, new defending champion.
The daily contenders for today, December 20, were:
- Roann Baleza (Metro Manila)
- Zena Cutamora (Visayas)
- John Michael Dela Cerna (Mindanao)
They have respectively performed songs such as Ngayon At Kailanman, Masterpiece, and Lately.
Out of three contestants, the one who stood out earning the highest average score of 91.8% is the one from Mindanao and will be facing the Luzon defending champion Uriel Javier.
In Tapatan, the final round, the daily winner sang After All These Years and the defending champion performed Mas Mabuti Pa.
With a score of 93.6%, the daily winner was hailed as today’s defending champion and will return tomorrow to defend the title.
The judges for today, December 20, are Maestro Louie Ocampo, Ogie Alcasid, Kyla, Jaya, and Punong Hurado Gary Valenciano.

- OVERALL PERFORMANCE – 50%
Tawag Ng Tanghalan is aired in the noontime show Its Showtime which is now on its third year and a singing competition for the amateur singers. The known champions from TNT were Noven Belleza, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin for the first year, kids edition, and second year respectively.
