Still Unidentified Persons Ambushed Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental Deputy Chief

NEGROS ORIENTAL DEPUTY CHIEF – Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental Deputy Chief of Police “Porferio Gabuya Jr.” was ambushed.

Following the unexpected attack to Bacolod City, Negros Occidental Councilor Cano Tan and his wife in Alangilan, another ambush incident took place in the region.

Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, a Deputy Chief of Police in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental was ambushed by still unidentified persons today.

The victim was identified as Police Senior Inspector Porferio Gabuya Jr. The incident reportedly happened inside a public market along the national highway.

According to the report, the initial investigation shows that a riding-in-tandem ambushed the Deputy Chief.

The faces of the suspects were covered when the incident happened and they were wearing sunglasses while on board a motorcycle with no plate number.

Based on the report, Gabuya was brought to the hospital but he was declared dead on arrival. The police authorities are currently in the pursuit of looking out for the suspects.
