JK Labajo Receives “Death Threats” After Heated Arguments With Darren Espanto
JK LABAJO – Filipino singer-composer JK Labajo received “death threats” after his heated arguments with fellow singer Darren Espanto.
Filipino singer Juan Karlos Labajo started his career in the show business after he joined the reality singing contest The Voice Kids.
JK is one of the finalists of the show along with Lyca Gairanod and Darren Espanto. Gairanod won the contest whose coach was the Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo.
Even though JK did not win the reality singing contest, he was immediately offered projects from the Kapamilya network.
The singer-songwriter starred in some drama series such as Hawak-Kamay, A Love to Last, and Pangako Sa ‘Yo.
JK Labajo is currently enjoying his career and band so as his The Voice Kids batch mate Darren Espanto.
Darren’s career in singing has blossomed over the years because of this undeniable talent same with Labajo.
However, these two celebrities previously had a controversial clash regarding Labajo’s “gayness” Tweet where he tagged Darren.
JK Labajo’s tweet made Darren Espanto get furious although he explained that his account was hacked and he’s not the one who posted it.
Based on a report from PEP, Labajo insisted that he is innocent and said he already talked to the executives of the Kapamilya network about it.
“Do I feel bad? I didn’t feel bad kasi I didn’t do anything”
“Hindi naman ganun kakapal and mukha ko para magsinungaling to the extent na pati sa harap ng mga boss,” Labajo added.
According to the report, JK Labajo said he was frequently bashed by Darren Espanto’s fans and he just chose to keep silent and ignore them.
The “Buwan” singer stated that he even got “death threats” because of that issue and if ever he dies, it’s already obvious who the culprit is.
“I don’t give up. Actually, mayroon pa nga akong death threat…Pag namatay ako, naku, baka may lead na kayo,” Labajo said.
JK Labajo decided to stay on his ground about what he said on the controversial Tweet.
