NONONG DE ANDRES – Actor Nonong De Andres also known by his screen name as “Bangkay” was recently found dead in Plaridel, Quezon.
De Andres, most of the time, played the role of “Bangkay” or corpse, thus, rendering it his name, or in some cases, “Kamatayan”. This is because he often portray a corpse in horror or comedy films.
According to a post in ABS-CBN, regarding his biography, he began his carrer as a layout artist. Then, he made a debut in acting as an extra in Dolphy’s movies. He took the role for fun as he was hesitant in entering the world of acting until he eventually committed to act full-time.
In more than a hundred films, Bangkay is lucky to work with big-time actors but Dolphy is his only idol. For him, Dolphy is the best of them all as he is an all-around, versatile actor. His friends say that he is not as scary in real life as he is on films.
As per the report, Bangkay managed a beach resort owned by the town mayor for years.
Recently, a Twitter acount named “peewee bacuño” recently tweeted which was later on retweeted by DZBB Super Radyo :

According to the post, he died by hanging himself, thus, committing suicide in Plaridel, Quezon, where he currently lived.
