GMA-7’s SPS Getting Higher AGB Rating Over ASAP Elicits Reaction from Regine Velasquez

REGINE VELASQUEZ – Philippines‘ Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez reacted to the higher AGB rating of the Sunday PinaSaya or SPS of GMA-7 over ABS-CBN’s ASAP.

One of the celebrities who recently made a network switch is actress-singer Regine Velasquez. Regine transferred to ABS-CBN network and joined her husband, Ogie Alcasid.

The singer has been a Kapuso for 20 years. Amid her transfer, she’s vocal of her gratitude to the GMA-7 for taking care of her and her family for decades. Her Kapuso and Kapamilya friends are also understanding and supportive of her decision.

Visibly, Regine Velasquez maintains a wonderful relationship with the GMA-7 and the ABS-CBN network. The latter has given her a warm welcome to her new home network.

Though she is now a Kapamilya, still, Regine Velasquez is happy over the performances of the GMA-7 shows including the Sunday comedy show Sunday PinaSaya or SPS. It recently got a higher AGB rating than the Kapamilya’s ASAP.

Director Louie Ignacio shared through his Instagram account that the GMA-7’s SPS got a 6.2 AGB rating on October 28, 2018. The Kapamilya network got a 4.5 rating.

Many of the followers of Direk Louie congratulated him and the show for its performance. One celebrity also reacted to it, now Kapamilya actress Regine Velasquez.

Based on a report on Pep, in Kantar’s result, ASAP got a higher rating than SPS. The two networks reportedly garnered 11.4% and 8.6% ratings respectively.

Furthermore, in Mega Manila, the Kapamilya Sunday musical variety show got 11.5% while the Kapuso’s comedy show landed on the 10.9% mark.
