Reason Behind the Exclusion of Regine Velasquez From Studio 7 Revealed by a GMA Executive

REGINE VELASQUEZ – GMA Executive Ruth Marinas spoke on the exclusion of actress-singer Regine Velasquez from Studio 7.

Until now, the speculations and rumors about the alleged transfer of the Philippines’ Asia Songbird Regine Velasquez from GMA-7 to ABS-CBN have not died down.

There are rumors that The Clash which had the singer as host is her last project with the Kapuso network. The said show wherein she worked with Christian Bautista, Lani Misalucha, and Aiai delas Alas among others recently aired its finale.

The rumors and speculations that Regine Velasquez will transfer to the Kapamilya network are also ignited by the fact that her husband, Ogie Alcasid, is now working under the ABS-CBN network.

Meanwhile, the actor-singer has previously put down the allegations that he is convincing his wife. He stressed that she is an intelligent woman.

Recently, another thing ignited the rumors and speculations – Regine Velasquez is not included in the GMA-7’s upcoming variety show Studio-7. Her exclusion from the show made other people speculate that is really leaving the Kapuso network.

Speaking to Pep in an exclusive interview, GMA executive Ruth Marinas clarified the exclusion of Regine Velasquez from Studio-7.

According to the production unit manager, when they were conceptualizing the show, she personally knew that the actress-singer has a tour in the United States.

“After The Clash, aalis siya, e. Kaya hindi talaga siya nakasama sa line-up kasi aalis siya. Two weeks siya sa U.S., e,” Marinas said.

Based on the report, the GMA executive further explained that they knew that the schedule of Regine Velasquez will not fit the show.

The pilot episode of the upcoming Kapuso variety show which will take the Sunday primetime bloc will be on October 14.

A few days ago, the actress-singer has shared on social media that they have not flown for their show abroad but they’re hoping to leave the country this week for the two other shows.
