HARLENE BAUTISTA – Former actress Harlene Bautista broke her silence on her separation from ex-husband Romnick Sarmenta.
Recently, many were surprised and left saddened by the revelation of celebrity ex-couple Harlene Bautista and Romnick Sarmenta. The two celebrities issued a statement confirming their separation.
In their statement, Romnick and Harlene appealed for privacy. They assured that they still share a great friendship and they wanted privacy for their children and themselves as well.

Harlene Bautista and Romnick Sarmenta were a couple for almost two decades – 19 years. They have five children whom they visibly love so much and want to spare from intrigues regarding their separation.
Recently, speaking to Pep at Salu Restaurant owned by their family, Harlene Bautista broke her silence on her separation from Romnick Sarmenta. According to her, even their close friends were surprised by their separation.
“Kasi mukha siyang fairy tale. Walang mga intriga,” she said.
Based on the report, Harlene Bautista admitted that it was her who initiated the decision to separate but stressed that they both arrived at a mutual decision. When asked if he was surprised, the businesswoman told Pep to just ask Romnick.
Harlene said that based on her experience, her love for Romnick did not go away but changed. Meanwhile, she emphasized that she still loves him as he is the father of her children and they are friends.
“Mahal ko naman siya dahil siya ang tatay ng mga anak ko. Dahil magkaibigan kami, meron kaming pinagsamahan,” she expressed.
Based on the report, when asked about the possibility of loving again, Harlene Bautista was quick to answer in the affirmative. According to her, she told Romnick about it and she also told him that she wants the same for him.
“Gusto ko meron akong makasama sa buhay… Gusto ko, ikaw rin,’ sabi ko sa kanya,” she said.

Based on the report, Harlene expressed that only time can tell it. According to her, it took twelve years before they met again and after two months they got married and then separated after 19 years.
“So, baka hindi pa doon mag-e-end, malay natin? Baka ganoon talaga yung kwento naming dalawa,” she said.
Currently, Harlene Bautista is visibly dedicated in their family-owned Salu Restaurant. Romnick Sarmenta has returned to his showbiz career and is now part of the ABS-CBN primetime television series Halik.
