Mocha Uson Expresses Real Feelings On Rated K: “Para Rin Akong Mayon Volcano”
MOCHA USON – During her interview with Rated K, Mocha Uson said, “Para rin akong Mayon Volcano”.
The former Assistant Secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), Mocha Uson, recently announced her resignation during the Offices’ budget hearing at the Senate.
After a year and 4 months, Mocha stepped down and resigned from that position. A few days after that, she agreed to be interviewed by Korina Sanchez for Rated K.
Based on the report from ABS-CBN, Mocha was asked why she accepted the interview now and why not while she was still in the office.
She explained that if she agreed before, the interview might not go well due to their political opinions.
It is better that she is now a civilian so that she can now defend herself, she expressed.
The 9-minute interview with Korina is not much about politics. Korina just asked Mocha Uson more about her as a person.
Their topic is more on Mocha’s background in life – about who her parents are and also how and why she got into the entertainment business.
She shared that her father was once a Court Judge while her mother was a doctor. Her father died in 1992. In 2006, she led the dance group Mocha Girls.
The former PCOO Asec. expressed that she can now do a lot of things now that she’s not working for the government anymore.
Mocha said she was just like the Mayon Volcano. She’s been inactive for a year and 4 months. She can’t defend herself while she is serving the government.
“Hindi ko ma pagtangol sarili ko,”
“When you’re a public official it comes with tatangapin mo yung mga bashing sayo,” she added.
At the end of the interview, Korina asked her if she has already decided to run for Senate this coming 2019 Election.
Uson answered she still does not have her final decision yet.
