MV South Pacific Ship Containing 67 Passengers Suffers Accident in Bohol
The MV South Pacific ship containing 67 passengers suffered an accident along the coastal areas of Danajon Bank in Bohol.
The Facebook page Superbalita Cebu reported that MV South Pacific has been involved in an accident while carrying about 67 passengers.
The shipping vessel allegedly came from Bat, Leyte heading to Sugbo when it suddenly aground along Danajon Bank, Bohol.
PCG 7 operations chief LTJG Mike Encina said that the incident involving MV South Pacific happened around 1 am on Tuesday early morning (October 9, 2018).
Luckily, all 67 passengers are safely rescued by the authorities and carried by PCG vessel heading to Sugbo.
The authorities also conduct an investigation regarding the incident and found that it is negative from oil spill.
