Camp of Vice Pres. Robredo Reacts To Mocha Uson’s Resignation as PCOO Asec
ROBREDO – Vice President Leni Robredo’s camp reacted to the resignation of former PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson.
Amid the calls for her to leave her post as the assistant secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), Mocha Uson made a decision to resign. As for her, it is a form of “sacrifice” for the budget of the office.
In Mocha’s letter to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the resigned PCOO Asec told the President that she did not want to cause a burden to PCOO. The said office is headed by Secretary Martin Andanar.
The resignation of Mocha Uson from being the assistant secretary of the PCOO gained different reactions from politicians, celebrities, and ordinary individuals. Among those who reacted is the camp of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.

Tracing back, Mocha Uson has attacked Vice Pres. Leni Robredo several times. The former is a staunch supporterĀ of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte from PDP-Laban Party. The Vice President is from the Liberal Party.
Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, Barry Gutierrez, the spokesperson of Vice Pres. Robredo, has issued a statement over the resignation of Mocha Uson as the PCOO Asec.
In a statement, the camp of the Vice President said that Uson has shown several times that she does not understand and she is not ready to fulfill her duties as a public servant.
“Kaya hindi kawalan sa bayan ang kanyang pagbibitaw,” Gutierrez added.

Based on the report, the camp of Vice Pres. Robredo also said that Mocha Uson should not make a mistake of thinking that she will not be held responsible for her alleged lies because of her resignation.
“Huwag lang siyang magkamaling isipin na dahil nag resign na siya, hindi na siya mananagot para sa lahat ng kasinungalingan,” the Vice President’s camp said.

Following her resignation as the PCOO Asec., Mocha Uson has expressed openness to running in the 2019 elections. According to her, she is open to both running for a seat in the Senate and in the Congress.
