POKWANG – Kapamilya comedienne Pokwang expensive jewelry has stunned and caught the attention of the people which eventually gathered various comments.

The inflation rate which reached up to 6.4% has undeniably deeply affected the people of whom are the consumers as well.

In a previous report, even Gretchen Ho reacted to it where a specific issue has surfaced – siling labuyo’s kilogram has skyrocketed to as much as P1,000.00.

This has definitely shocked the people. This was also after the viral photo of the pepper from the SM supermarket has a tag price costing P1,029.60. However, this is not true accordingly.

On Instagram, Pokwang shared a video of her ordering someone to get her “most expensive” accessory.

But it turned out that her “most expensive” accessory is a necklace of siling labuyo which made the netizen laugh their heads off. She is seemingly insinuating something regarding current issues.

One netizen from the post commented, “[Kidding] and political insinuation aside, Ms Pokwang are those real chilis? Those are statement pieces!”

Meanwhile, with the issue about siling labuyo, Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol advised the consumers to consider planting kinds of it, that way, they won’t have to pay for one, in any case, they would like to use some of it.

“Those who are complaining about the very high price of “Sili” or red chili which reportedly sells for P900 per kilo should know that in many parts of the country, including my home city of Kidapawan, the red sili is sold for only about P50 per kilo,” he added.
